    About the Counseling Department

The Counseling Department provides services and resources for the students as an aid to educational, vocational, social, and personal development. Each student is considered as an individual with unique interests, abilities, and opportunities. Individual conferences are held each year in order to aid the student during various stages of growth and development. In addition to the personal services extended to students and parents, the guidance staff responds to the needs of the educational community by testing, maintaining records, making agency referrals and acting as liaison between students, faculty and/or parents. Students are also assisted in making appropriate course selections according to their abilities, aptitudes, and future career goals.
