PSSA Testing Reduction to Benefit Students, Teachers, and Parents
Greetings Susquehanna Township High School Community.
My name is Vincent Harper. I am approaching 17 years in public education. I have served for the past 10 years as an educational leader in several roles including Alternative Education, Special Education, and High School. Much of my educatioanl career has been working in urban education. I am excited to begin the 2018-19 school year as the Principal of Susquehanna Township High School. It is with great pride and honor that I embark on this educational journey with the students, families, and stakeholders of this great community. I believe the dedication of this faculty, superintendent, and school board poises Susquehanna Township High School to be a World Class organization which will prepare our students to be 21st century learners and 21st century graduates. We endeavor to be a premier High School in this county, state, and nation. Most importantly, our vision is to ensure Susquehanna High School meets the academic, social, and emotional excellence our students deserve. As a former Emotional Support Teacher, it excites me to lead in a district that recognizes students' social and emotional education is a critical factor to ensuring future success.
The mission and strategic plan of the district has set goals which I believe can only be accomplished through collaborative relationships, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment from all of our student, family, and staff stakeholders. The administration and faculty of Susquehanna Township High School are committed to putting forth the effort required to achieve our mission. I look forward to working very hard to ensure we are all Susquehanna Proud. Once again, I welcome you all to an exciting 2018-19 school year and I look forward to working with you.
