POLICY

 

STUDENT PROGRESS REPORT

 

Cooperation between parents and school authorities contributes to the academic success of individual students. 

 

The classroom teacher is responsible for informing parents of any child whose grade evaluation indicates a potential failure for a report or for the school year. Classroom teachers are also responsible to inform the parents of any child who is performing significantly below potential ability. 

 

This responsibility may be met by the classroom teacher by any of the following methods:

 

1.                  Forward progress reports on forms provided by the school.

 

2.                  Documented phone calls to parents.

 

3.                  Documented home visits.

 

4.                  Documented parental conferences.
