About Me
My name is Mia Gray and I am so happy to be here as the librarian at Thomas W. Holtzman Elementary School. As the librarian, I hope to encourage a love of reading and I look forward to helping our students become 21st Centruy learners who will access and use information efficiently and effectively through the use of a variety of sources and through the use of technology.
I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University and my Master of Education; Reading from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. My certifications include Elementary Education K-6, Library Media Specialist K-12 and Reading Specialist K-12. I have been in education for over 20 years, which includes a variety of experiences including kindergarten teacher, high school librarian, youth service librarian for the public library, reading teacher, and elementary technology teacher.
