SOA Visual Arts and Fashion Design Programs Shine

Susquehanna Township High School seniors Ashton Krow and Jehmale Latham have been accepted into two of the most prestigious colleges for visual arts and fashion design in the country.

Ashton announced his acceptance to The School of Art at The Cooper Union in New York City. The Cooper Union is one of the most difficult and prestigious professional art colleges in the United States. Over 30,000 students apply to The Cooper Union each year, and Ashton is one of only 70 art students accepted to the program this year.

Jehmale announced his acceptance to FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) New York Campus. This year, Jehmale was awarded both the Scholastic Gold and Silver Key in fashion design and has work currently displayed at the State Museum of Pennsylvania. Jehmale is now the 7th STSD School of the Arts Fashion Design student to attend FIT New York Campus.

Congratulations! These are incredible accomplishments and a testament to the World Class education at Susquehanna Township School District!
