Viet Pham Crowned Mr. Susquehanna

Senior Viet Pham was crowned Mr. Susquehanna – the beauty pagent with a twist – on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Susquehanna Township High School. This student run event was led by HANNA Education Foundation student trustees Zach Adams, Dan Akrong, Darius Davenport, and Austin White.

Congratulations to all of the contestants: Peter Caldwell, Darius Davenport, Ehi Jatto, Pavan Patel, and Austin White. The contestants were selected by monetary contributions made by students at STHS and received scores in the following categories: formal wear, lip syncing, spirit wear, and an interview. 

Mr. Haun, Business Education teacher, served as master of ceremonies. Judges included STHS teachers Ms. Elena Charles and Mr. Doug Shenk; Dwayne DeFoor, HANNA Education Foundation Vice President; and Elliot Solomon, STHS alumnus.

The HANNA Education Foundation would like to thank the members of the National Honor Society and Susquehanna Township Music Boosters for donating snacks and volunteering behind the scenes to help ensure a successful event.
