HACC High School Fire Academy
HACC, in partnership with local high schools and fire departments, has been providing entry-level fire training and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification training. This program provides students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become active in his or her local volunteer fire department or Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency. Successful graduates obtain multiple certifications in fire training as well as state and national certification as an EMR. These certificates not only provide the student with tangible credentials, they also provide the students with a stepping stone to a career in public safety or healthcare. Several high schools have voiced serious interest in this award and Cumberland Valley High School has signed up to offer the Academy to their students. For questions, please contact Bob Stakem, director of HACC’s Public Safety Center, at email@example.com.

Are you applying to college? STHS has teamed with Parchment to make the TRANSCRIPT REQUEST PROCESS easier for you.
One of the required documents you will need when applying to college is an official high school transcript; which is a document that reflects a student’s academic record. STHS has an online service where you can request an official high school transcript and send it to the college of your choice with just a few clicks.
Parchment sends your transcript securely, accurately and confidentially to any college or university. The best part is you can request your transcript anytime from anywhere. All you need is an internet connection and to visit Parchment.com.
Just follow these 3 easy steps to get started:
- Register for a free account at www.parchment.com
- Click create account in the left hand corner.
- Follow the prompts.
You can also use Parchment to send additional information electronically, including letters of recommendation.
Sending your transcript electronically is easier, safe and saves money! Because it’s online, it is processed much faster; your high school can send it instantly, and the college or university receives it immediately. You no longer have to wonder if your transcript was received by the college or university to which you are applying. Now you can track it all online at your account on Parchment.com. That’s peace of mind!
If you have questions about electronic transcripts you can contact your school counselor or Mrs. Olley, the Guidance Secretary in charge of transcripts, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Don’t delay! Sign up for your Parchment.com account today at www.parchment.com!
